An exciting follow-on workshop with artist and printmaker Lesley Shaw . This workshop is for those who have already attended an Introduction to Linoprint workshop with Lesley and learned the basic skills of *relief linocut, and are now ready to make their own set of limited edition linocut prints.

Lesley will remind you how to use lino cutting tools or gouges safely and effectively to produce a simple and striking print. Then working with your own image or drawing (ideally reversed), you will then plan and transfer your design onto a lino tile and, using your selected lino cutting tools, you will cut out your image. Lesley will be on hand to guide you through the process of inking up and printing your tile with oil-based printing inks, using the etching press. You will produce a set of 6 limited edition prints, ready for your signature and date. Prints will be a single colour. Image/tile size can be either A6 printed on A5 paper, or an A5 artwork printed on A4 paper.

Just bring yourself and wear old clothing. Aprons and gloves provided, along with refreshments.
